( This session includes subjects like Nature of CSS-NS, essential definitions and organization; nature of knowledge, geo-cultural diversity, language, curriculum and pedagogy; governance, people’s participation in decision making and decentralization and devolution of powers, state list versus concurrent list; special measures to guarantee equality (including social, cultural, religious, linguistic, gender and disability- related), social justice and other Fundamental Rights and to ensure fulfillment of the objectives of the Preamble.)

Neglected conditions in government schools and inevitable crisis in private schools

– a case for common school system

This subject includes

1)      The issues like neglect of government schools by state with respect to provision of infrastructure. Appointment of class and subject teachers;

2)      The issues like comparative study of different managements within govt. sector to identify the best practices and alternative approaches;

3)      The lack of economic measures like provision of books, cloths and nutritious food to retain students in the school up to class 12th and

4)      The crisis in private schools run on commercial basis; treatment meted out to children, the ranks oriented ‘ teaching ’, heavy working hours for students and bad service conditions of the teachers there in

Objectives, Role & Strategy, Organization, Co-ordination and Co-operation with groups/ organizations in different states, Guidelines for Funding, Major Demands and Manifesto and Outline of a Six-Month Action Program.
